L'Escale Occitane campsite near the Canal du Midi, bike welcome label
At 2.7 km from the Canal du Midi, between Carcassonne and Castelnaudary and 80 km from Toulouse, l'Escale Occitane is the perfect bivouac for cycling tourists, labeled "Accueil vélo" (cycling-friendly campsite), we've got everything you need, offering our cycling friends a quiet comfortable place to stay the night, to regain strength after a day’s cycling.
On-site facilities
A large tenting meadow, specially shaped for more cosiness, at a special bike rate.
There are 2 sheltered picnic tables. Sanitary facilities are nearby.
Relaxing at the campsite
Upon arrival, you’re welcome to refresh yourself at the bar, where you can enjoy cold drinks, ice creams and vitamin-rich smoothies.
In the evening, Rémy prepares you his delicious cassoulet, homemade pizzas and burgers, vegan burgers and salads.
We’ve got a guitar, drum set, ping pong table, badminton, table football or the carrom board game, to play a game or be musically creative.
